First Baptist Forsyth is seeking a reliable and handy individual to join our team as a Part-Time Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for maintaining the general condition and functionality of our facility. The ideal candidate is an initiative-taker who can manage a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Repairs: Perform minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks (e.g., fixing leaky faucets, replacing light fixtures, or repairing drywall).
• Facility Upkeep: Maintain the safety of interior and exterior common areas, seasonal groundskeeping like snow removal or mulching.
• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems, alarm systems, and appliances to ensure they are in proper working order.
• Work Orders: Respond to and complete maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1–3 years of building maintenance or handyman experience is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift 50–90 lbs.

Schedule 

• Hours: Up to 20 hours per week (may include weekends or specific shifts).
